RHDecho – Mitral Valve Echocardiographic Image Analysis System for Screening Mitral Valve Defects/Subclinical Rheumatic Heart Disease

This project arises from this need, with a relevant strategic power in the development of a solution that may not only helpless developed countries in the control of rheumatic heart disease but also identify potential causes of subclinical presentation of the various possible defects in the mitral valve in Developed countries. Another important aspect of the impact on developing countries is that most of these countries are on the list of emerging countries and, therefore, with an increasing purchasing power for services. The solution to be developed may be suitable for diagnosing RCD as well as other cases of mitral valve regurgitation not associated with RCD and other defects.
